Expert testimony can be critical to resolving complex matters, but it can also become costly, duplicative, and difficult to navigate when experts disagree on highly technical issues. Court-appointed neutrals can help focus expert testimony on the questions that matter most, identify areas of agreement and disagreement, and assist in evaluating complex or competing opinions. They can help courts understand what is “junk science” or does or does not have general acceptance and help parties evaluate more accurately just how much the science favors them. #CourtAppointedNeutrals #ExpertWitnesses #ComplexLitigation #ACAN

Congrats to awesome ACANer Janice Sperow!
Humbled to join the College of Commercial Arbitrators Fellows Class of 2026. As I heard President Stephen S. Strick and President Elect Allison Snyder introduce the inductees of the 2026 new class of fellows and their credentials, I felt extreme honor and joy to share the same stage with such talented arbitrators. And to prove it, take a look at the big grin on my face! Congratulations to all. What a wonderful substantive conference! Janice

Congrats to ACANer Chrystal F. Fischer for three years of helping people parent with grace for many years to come.
Today marks THREE YEARS since Parenting with Grace opened our doors! On October 11, 2023, we welcomed families with a commitment that still guides us today: every child deserves to feel protected and connected. As I reflect on these three years, I think about the families who have trusted us during some of their most difficult moments. The courage it takes to walk through our doors. The small steps forward that carry so much meaning. And the connections that remind us why this work matters. Building Parenting with Grace has stretched me, taught me, and deepened my commitment to children and families. Today, my heart is full of gratitude. To our staff, board members, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners: thank you for helping turn a vision into a place where families can find support, safety, and hope. And to the families we serve: thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. You are at the heart of everything we do. Happy third anniversary, PWG! Here’s to continuing to strengthen and empower families, together. Because every child deserves to feel protected and connected.
