About us
BETA Technologies is creating an electric transportation ecosystem that’s safe, reliable and sustainable. A relentlessly focused team is building an extensive charging infrastructure and ALIA, the world’s most technologically advanced electric vertical aircraft (EVA). BETA’s platform and products are strikingly simple. Prioritization of safety and a pragmatic approach to certification drive elegant redundancy, appropriate diversity of implementation and simplicity of control. ALIA’s fixed-pitch propellers and centrally located batteries make it an inherently stable aircraft that is safe to fly and easy to maneuver.

BETA’s newest aerospace paint booth adds aircraft finishing capabilities to our operations in Plattsburgh, New York. Aircraft manufactured in South Burlington, Vermont, fly across Lake Champlain to Plattsburgh, where our team conducts final flight testing and system calibration, completes each aircraft’s exterior finish, and prepares it for delivery. The paint booth creates opportunities for skilled careers in aviation and advanced manufacturing. BETA’s existing workforce partnership with CV-TEC trains local students in electric aviation manufacturing and aerospace coating, providing a direct path into these fields and helping build the region’s workforce.

BETA’s charging network has over 130 sites nationwide. BETA team members joined students and faculty from Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School, elected officials and airport leadership, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome BETA’s newest charge cube at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW). "We imagine a future where these aircraft connect small towns to hospitals, to jobs and to each other. It’s exciting to share that progress with Marshall University and its students, who represent the next generation of aviation professionals." - Blain Newton, Chief Information Officer at BETA.

Electric aviation is already taking shape in Utah. Since 2025, BETA, 47G, and Utah Department of Transportation have been laying the groundwork to put ALIA in the air and charging infrastructure on the ground. This week, we're building on that progress alongside our Utah partners, moving closer to routine operations that connect rural communities and urban centers.
