  • At September’s Solar Manufacturing USA 2026 in Austin, Texas, CS PowerTech shared practical insights from our experience building and ramping up large-scale solar manufacturing operations in the United States. Presented by Philip Zheng, the session explored three essential priorities—the right factory, the right technology, and the right team—and how aligning factory planning, technology investment, and team development helps turn manufacturing ambition into operational readiness. As a Silver Sponsor, we welcomed the opportunity to exchange experience with industry peers and contribute to the discussion on building a strong, competitive U.S. solar manufacturing sector. Thank you to the organisers, speakers, and participants for a valuable exchange of ideas. #CSPowerTech #SolarManufacturingUSA #USManufacturing #SolarEnergy #ManufacturingExcellence

  • For approximately four hours, a fully charged 940 kWh KuBank 3.0 cabinet was allowed to burn. Thermal runaway was intentionally initiated. All fire suppression systems were disabled. The test was designed to answer a critical question: could the fire remain contained and not spread to the surrounding energy storage units? The result was clear. There was no explosion, no fire propagation to the neighboring units, and the cabinet structure remained intact. KuBank 3.0 passed the test on its first attempt, without corrective actions, becoming the industry’s first system to pass this rigorous large-scale fire test under the latest UL 9540A:2026 standard. The test was witnessed and independently verified by TÜV Rheinland and Energy Safety Response Group. We hope a fire like this never happens in the real world. But responsible engineering means preparing for the most extreme conditions, not only the expected ones. As energy storage becomes an increasingly important part of our electricity systems, safety must be demonstrated through evidence. This is essential for earning the trust of customers, regulators, first responders, and the communities where these systems operate. #CanadianSolar #eSTORAGE #KuBank #EnergyStorage #BatterySafety #BESS #CleanEnergy

🔥 A major milestone for C&I energy storage safety. We're proud to announce that e-STORAGE's KuBank 3.0 has become the industry's first commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage system to successfully pass Large-Scale Fire Testing (LSFT) under the latest UL 9540A:2026 standard. Tested under extreme conditions, including a fully charged 940 kWh system, intentionally induced thermal runaway, and disabled fire suppression systems, KuBank 3.0 successfully contained the event without explosion or fire propagation to neighboring units. It passed on the first attempt without corrective actions. Built with advanced 314 Ah LFP battery cells, intelligent liquid cooling, and a multi-layer active safety architecture, KuBank 3.0 is designed to deliver both performance and peace of mind for C&I energy storage applications. As safety expectations continue to rise across the industry, we're committed to delivering solutions that help customers deploy energy storage with greater confidence. Batteries on site in Weener – our first project in Germany is taking shape. e-STORAGE is supplying and commissioning Ems BESS, a 20.7 MW / 56 MWh DC battery energy storage system in Weener, Lower Saxony, developed by Kyon Energy. The SolBank-based system is now on site, with commissioning targeted for later this year – and a 20-year Long-Term Service Agreement will keep it performing for decades. Large-scale storage is key to Germany's energy transition: it gives the grid the flexibility to integrate more renewables and keep the system stable. We are proud to support that build-out with bankable technology and lifecycle services. Thank you to Kyon Energy and to everyone on site who made this delivery happen. #BESS #EnergyStorage #Energiewende #GridFlexibility #SolBank #CanadianSolar #eSTORAGE

  • Australia’s next chapter in commercial solar and storage is taking shape. ☀️🔋 The proposed expansion of federal solar incentives and new NSW business battery incentives are creating fresh opportunities for commercial and industrial energy projects. Bringing together high-efficiency solar modules and KuBank energy storage, Canadian Solar combines global technology expertise with local support to help Australian businesses explore their next energy investment. Discover more in the post from our Australia and New Zealand team below, and connect with them to discuss your C&I project. https://lnkd.in/ebcFErQN #CanadianSolarAU #CommercialSolar #EnergyStorage #Australia #CAndI #CanadianSolar

A new opportunity is opening up for commercial solar and energy storage in Australia. Two policy developments are bringing C&I projects into focus: ☀️ National solar opportunity The proposed expansion of the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme would extend support to eligible solar systems above 100 kW and up to 1 MW. The intended commencement is 1 October 2026, subject to regulations being in place. 🔋 NSW business battery incentives From 1 September 2026, eligible NSW businesses can access incentives for new battery installations under the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme. For businesses planning a new solar installation, a rooftop expansion or battery storage, now is a good time to explore the options. Canadian Solar’s portfolio brings together high-efficiency monofacial and bifacial modules with KuBank commercial energy storage, supporting different site requirements and energy goals. Explore our C&I solar and storage portfolio: https://lnkd.in/ebcFErQN Incentives are subject to the applicable scheme, site, product and installation requirements. Product suitability and eligibility must be assessed for each project. #CanadianSolarAU #CommercialSolar #EnergyStorage #CAndI #SolarAustralia #CanadianSolar Evan Rayias Munseb Ali
