A few words from our CEO Stu Bradin on our GSE Event in Rome last week. Ten years ago we were a two-year-old foundation taking a big swing. We flew to Vilnius, hoped people would show up, and 276 did. This week in Rome, more than 1,100 people from 32 nations walked through the doors. I’ll admit I got a little emotional standing up there. I always share my takeaways at the end of these events, so here are a few from this one. We can’t improvise readiness. It has to be built well before we need it. And for all the tech on display this week, every leader on that stage came back to people. In SOF, the operator always comes first. ADM Bradley said something I keep thinking about: commander relationships matter more than command relationships. That’s why GSOF does this. Trust gets built in rooms like that one. The hybrid fight isn’t something on the horizon. It’s already happening across Europe. AI is speeding everything up, but people still have to make the decisions. A huge grazie to everyone who made Rome our biggest Europe event yet. Italy showed up for us in a big way. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this over the last ten years. Here’s to the next ten.
