The intelligent factory orchestration system that unifies machines, people, and data for real-time control.
About us
Harmoni has pioneered a new category of industrial technology called factory orchestration, designed to eliminate wasted time, prevent errors, and bring real-time visibility to the shop floor. Built on three pillars - automation, process control, and observability - Harmoni gives operators a centralized command center at each machine. Harmoni uses RFID to automate non-productive tasks and enable real-time locating, ensures only the correct engineering documents are delivered to the workcenter, and integrates ERP, machine, operator, and locating data into a live, visual view of factory performance never before possible. Deploying in weeks, Harmoni delivers immediate ROI and drives measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Harmoni was just granted U.S. Patent No. 12,748,572. That number means nothing - but the problem it solves means everything to manufacturers… Your best operator tweaks a program at the machine to make the part run right. It works. Next shift loads the old program and makes the same mistake. This patent fixes that. Harmoni automatically identifies the operator and job, loads the right program, and watches it run. If the operator changes the program, Harmoni catches it, documents it, and routes it to engineering. Once approved, that becomes the master. What your best people learn at the machine stops walking out the door every time the shift changes. That's real process control, and it's (officially) unique to Harmoni. As an engineer, having a patent has always been a dream. I've learned that nothing gets built alone. This wouldn't have been possible without my co-inventors Adam Ellis and Andrew C. Smith, and the whole Harmoni team who turned an idea into a product.

“The billions of VC dollars invested in autonomous factories this year aren't chasing machines or buildings. It's a bet on the technology that drives the manufacturing process.” At our recent "Building AI for the Physical World" event during LA TECH WEEK by a16z, Harmoni Co-Founder David Caputo shared his perspective on where manufacturing is headed and why the future isn't just about building new factories. It's about transforming how they operate. With 284,000 factories across the country, manufacturers shouldn't have to build from scratch or be left behind to access the technology shaping the next era of manufacturing. “They want access to the same technology, and that's what we give them at Harmoni.” Thank you Bessemer Venture Partners, Hadrian, J.P. Morgan, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, SendCutSend, and Amca for bringing together such an important conversation about the future of American manufacturing. #LATechWeek #Manufacturing #AI

⭐ Meet Patrick Gough, Field Technician at Harmoni! With more than a decade of hands-on manufacturing experience, Patrick knows the shop floor from the ground up. Before joining Harmoni, he worked as an operator and setup technician, including several years with CNC machines. Today, he brings that firsthand experience to helping manufacturers get better visibility into their operations. One thing Patrick believes manufacturers can underestimate? The impact of burnout on an already stretched workforce. With skilled labor in short supply, manufacturers need to make the most of the people they have. Patrick sees real-time data and better visibility as valuable tools for identifying inefficiencies, improving scheduling, and streamlining processes so teams can work smarter. When he’s not working with customers, you can probably catch Patrick watching Formula 1 and cheering on Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen. 🏎️ His favorite chant? “Du du du du, Max Verstappen!” But his favorite role of all is being dad to his two daughters. ❤️ We’re lucky to have you, Patrick! Thanks for everything you do for our customers and the team. 👏 #EmployeeSpotlight #MeetTheTeam #Manufacturing #FactoryOrchestration

What happens when an aerospace parts shop replaces napkin sketches, flash drives, and manual reporting with a connected factory? For RIMECO PRODUCTS, a family-owned CNC machine shop specializing in aircraft and engine components, it meant more accurate part counts, hours of labor saved, and a more connected operation. In this feature from Manufacturing.net, learn more about how Rimeco brought its ERP, quality, maintenance, and shop-floor workflows together with #FactoryOrchestration. Manufacturing is moving beyond connected machines. The next step is a factory that can actually act on what’s happening in real time. That’s what we’re heading to the 2026 FABTECH Expo to talk about. Join Harmoni Co-Founder David Caputo on Wednesday, October 21, from 9:00–10:30 AM in Room N221–222 for a closer look at what it takes as the industry moves toward autonomous manufacturing. Then stop by Booth #S46082 to meet the team: Jake Davis-Cervantes and Will Powers. We’d love to connect, talk shop, and show you how #FactoryOrchestration brings people, machines, and processes into sync. 📍 Las Vegas Convention Center 📅 October 21–23 See you next week, Vegas! ⭐ #FABTECH2026 #Manufacturing #Automation #AI

Manufacturing’s next chapter is being shaped by the people willing to build it. An incredible turnout for Building AI for the Physical World during LA TECH WEEK by a16z, and a great reminder of the momentum behind American manufacturing. Thanks to Hadrian, Bessemer Venture Partners, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, J.P. Morgan and all the partners who helped bring this conversation together.
Hadrian brought together founders, investors, and operators at our first LA TECH WEEK by a16z event, “Building AI for the Physical World,” in Santa Monica. Our CFO West Owens joined Jim Belosic (SendCutSend), David Caputo (Harmoni), and Jai Malik(Amca), moderated by Trevor Burns of J.P. Morgan, with opening remarks from Neel Lilani of Orrick. The conversation focused on what it takes to scale American manufacturing, rebuild domestic supply chains, and develop the workforce needed to support the next generation of industry. Reindustrializing America means building the factories, workforce, and production capacity to make it happen. #LATechWeek

Your factory could be losing 1,250 hours a year to 15-minute delays. Waiting for approvals. Searching for programs. Walking to shared terminals. Manually entering data. These small interruptions add up fast, costing manufacturers productive capacity without anyone noticing. The good news? You may not need another machine to increase output. You may need to get more out of the equipment and people you already have. Last week's blog breaks down the hidden cost of everyday delays and how #FactoryOrchestration helps manufacturers get those minutes back. #AI shouldn’t replace manufacturing expertise. It should amplify it. Harmoni's AI Lieutenant gives manufacturers a faster, simpler way to understand what’s happening across their operation. It turns thousands of data points into clear answers, uncovers opportunities for improvement, helps predict what’s coming next, and automates routine work. HAL isn’t just another AI chatbot. It’s purpose-built for manufacturing. HAL understands your factory, learns from your data, and helps your team make better decisions every day. Your expertise stays at the center. HAL helps you put it to work. #Manufacturing #ManufacturingAI #AI #SmartManufacturing #IndustrialAI #Automation #Industry40

American manufacturing is entering a new era. And it’s not just about autonomous factories or robots taking over jobs. It’s about making the 284,000 factories we already have more competitive. Here’s the vision behind Harmoni, featuring remarks from David Caputo at the 2026 IMTS press conference. Welcome to the reindustrial revolution.
