A new place for our colleagues with a view across Ulm☀️ Located on the roof of our headquarters, the terrace creates space for conversations, collaboration and fresh perspectives. Whether for a coffee break, a team meeting or an informal exchange between colleagues, it is designed to bring people together. Around 250 team members joined the opening celebration, enjoying sunshine, great conversations, food, drinks, and music. The rooftop terrace is part of a broader modernization project at our headquarters. Alongside creating a new space for employees, the renovation of around 2,200 square meters of roof area included improved insulation and a photovoltaic system with a capacity of approximately 55 kWp. The result is a more energy-efficient headquarters and a rooftop space our colleagues can enjoy together. 🌿

Today marks another important milestone in implementing our sustainability strategy and in moving toward our net-zero emissions target for 2045. Renewable electricity is key to reducing our operational emissions and achieving our long-term climate goals. Under a new ten-year agreement with Vattenfall, Wieland will source the full output of the newly inaugurated Nauen Solar Park near Berlin, which will supply enough electricity to cover approximately 15% of the electricity purchased for our German operations. The solar park will generate about 47 GWh of clean electricity annually. At Wieland, our decarbonization strategy is built on three key levers: 🔄 Increasing the use of recycled copper and strengthening circularity ⚡ Electrifying production processes that currently rely on fossil fuels ☀️ Expanding the use of renewable energy across our operations The Nauen Solar Park directly supports this third pillar by increasing the share of renewables in our energy mix, thereby helping reduce our Scope 2 emissions. At the same time, renewable electricity at Wieland extends far beyond a single project. We continue to invest in our own renewable energy generation through photovoltaic systems at our facilities, our solar park in Erbach, one of the largest in Southern Germany, and hydropower at our Vöhringen site. In addition, we are actively evaluating future wind energy projects. AI is reshaping the data center industry and driving growing demand for advanced cooling solutions. That's why we're investing $15 million in an additional plant in Delaware, Ohio. The new facility will create 100 jobs and significantly increase capacity for advanced heat exchangers used in data center cooling. Our heat exchanger technology delivers high cooling performance while reducing material and refrigerant requirements, helping customers operate data centers reliably and efficiently. Together with our existing Delaware operation, this expansion strengthens our manufacturing footprint in North America and enhances our ability to support customers in a rapidly growing market. More than a capacity expansion, this investment supports innovation, creates local jobs, and helps build the digital infrastructure that powers our connected world. In 2025, we opened our Aerospace Service Center in Kent, Washington with a clear goal: to be where our customers need us most. Today we're looking back on a successful first year...and we actually got closer. Closer to production. To demand. And to the challenges our customers face every day. Our location in Kent has developed into an integrated service center, supplying high-performance alloys to customers across the Northwestern states. While we're expanding our aerospace capabilities globally, we're also celebrating this important local milestone. ✈️ A big Thank You to the team that made this milestone possible!
