    We may be approaching a ceiling with personalization. For years, the guidance to marketers has been consistent: Personalize more. Build more segments. Use more data. Refine targeting. And to be fair, teams have made real progress. Most organizations today are capable of personalizing experiences within individual channels. Email, in particular, has become highly sophisticated. At the same time, investment continues to grow, with 87% of brands planning to increase spending on personalization, yet only about half feel very confident tying it directly to revenue. That gap is interesting. In my experience building AI and analytics products, the limitation usually isn’t a lack of algorithms or data. It’s the system around them. Personalization often lives inside individual tools or channels rather than across the full customer journey. Each part works well on its own, but they aren’t always coordinated. That’s where the ceiling starts to appear. The next stage of personalization won’t come from adding more segments or more models. It will come from orchestrating signals and decisions across channels and moments in the journey. In other words, moving from isolated personalization to systems that coordinate experiences end-to-end. I’m curious, where does personalization tend to break down most inside your organization today?
