About us

The Analyse Podcast is a media platform that discuss, dissect and dive deeply into the business and technology globally, and most importantly, made in Asia by people who are involved day to day in their respective ecosystems across the world. We offer the most important insights and deeper analyses in what's going on thru the global landscape. Given the landscape is so vast, we focus on someone who have deep understanding of his or her own respective country and ecosystem. The idea is to cover interesting trends in the business of technology and media in Asia through three channels: (a) pundits or correspondents from media who covered business, technology and media as a whole, (b) business leaders within the technology or media industry who are operating globally and (c) important thought leaders coming from both startup and investor ecosystems.

  • If you want a masterclass on the #podcasting industry from the perspective of the ecosystem, the content creator, the PR agencies and businesses trying to get your message out there, you should be listening to Borko Kovacevic, co-founder of Poddster UAE and Podyx, where he is at the centre of helping all of the players to get to market: Listen to our latest episode on Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gJ7FwmSQ

  • The biggest lie in #podcasting is that quality wins. It does not. Consistency wins. That was the sharpest insight from our conversation with Borko Kovacevic, co-founder of Poddster Singapore and Podyx with our founder Bernard Leong, and it cuts directly against how most people still think about content. Too many founders, executives, and brands overestimate polish and underestimate repetition. They obsess over lighting, graphics, set design, intros, edits, and brand guidelines. Then they publish once every few weeks, lose momentum, and wonder why nothing compounds. This is not a production problem. It is a commitment problem. The internet does not reward people for having one excellent episode. It rewards people who show up often enough for search engines, audiences, and AI systems to build a map of their expertise. That is what Borko understands unusually well. Podcasting is not just media. It is a discoverability machine. Increasingly, it is also a trust machine. That matters because most corporate communication is ineffective by design. It is over-scripted, low-trust, and instantly forgettable. Buyers can tell when they are being managed. They can also tell when they are listening to a real conversation. That is why long-form content matters. It does not just capture attention. It builds conviction. This episode also makes a broader point: podcasting is maturing from creator hobby into business infrastructure. Studios are becoming networks. Production is becoming operationalized. Software is being built around repeatable workflows. The market is getting serious. The implication is straightforward. If you are still treating podcasting as a nice-to-have brand exercise, you are already behind. The future belongs to people and companies that publish with enough consistency, clarity, and credibility to train the market to remember them. Read the full transcript and watch the whole episode 👇

  • Headline: A Landmark Win for Environmental Justice in the Age of AI 💧✨ Data centers are the backbone of the internet, but they come with a high price tag—and it’s not just financial. Karen Hao (Author of "Empire of AI") shares the incredible story of how Chilean activists successfully challenged a Google data center project. Highlights: - The Conflict: A massive data center proposed in a drought-stricken region of Chile. - The Pressure: Grassroots organizing that reached the Chilean National Government and Google’s global leadership. - The Victory: Google pivot away from freshwater cooling, setting a new precedent for corporate responsibility. As we race toward an AI-driven future, the infrastructure supporting it must be sustainable and equitable. 🎧 Catch the full story on the latest episode of Analyse Asia: https://lnkd.in/gDu4vaUe #Environment #DataCenter #Google #ClimateChange #TechNews

  • Most people still think #podcasting is a game of production quality. It is not. The real game is consistency, frequency, and digital discoverability. In an upcoming conversation with Borko Kovacevic, co-founder of Poddster Singapore and Podyx, we unpack one of the most underrated truths in media today: “What people underestimate is frequency and consistency in posting content beats everything else. Because the future internet is about you being available online and you providing enough content, enough material, that the algorithms learn about you.” That idea is bigger than podcasting. It is about how creators, executives, founders, and media brands win attention in a world where algorithms decide what gets surfaced, searched, and remembered. If you want to understand why some voices become discoverable while others remain invisible, this episode is worth your time. This is the episode for those who are planning to build your own podcasts and understand what it means to build a brand for your podcast. Full episode drops tomorrow before noon. #Podcasting #ContentStrategy #DigitalMarketing #BusinessMarketing #ThoughtLeadership

  • Who is steering the ship of AI development? The troubling truth about AI research funding 🚢 from Karen Hao, author of #EmpireofAI "Most AI researchers now work for the AI industry and/or are funded in part by the AI industry. Even academics that have stayed within universities are often funded by the AI industry. And the effect that that has had on knowledge production is akin to the effect we would imagine if most climate scientists were bankrolled by the fossil fuel industry. Like, it just—we would not get a clear picture of the climate crisis, and we’re not getting a clear picture of the true limitations and capabilities of AI, especially these frontier models. And this is one of the things that, when I speak with policymakers, also is central to their inability to consult with independent experts to put together sensible policy for holding the companies accountable or even just, like, fact-checking the company’s claims."
