Solid Waste Services

The City of Bradenton Solid Waste Division is committed to providing safe, timely, and efficient collection and disposal of household waste, yard debris, and bulk items for residents. Each residential home receives one green cart for garbage and one blue cart for unbagged yard waste. Additional green carts are available for an additional fee, which will be reflected on the utility bill. The City also offers recycling drop-off locations throughout the community and provides both residential and commercial solid waste collection.

Household trash is collected twice weekly—either Monday and Thursday, or Tuesday and Friday—while yard waste is collected once per week. Be sure to check our holiday collection schedule for any service changes.
