RDI Hub

We're proud to have been part of FoodCoP, a Horizon Europe project focused on fostering innovation and sustainability in rural food systems. As the consortium gathered in Slovenia for the final wrap event, it was a great opportunity to reflect on two years of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and community-led innovation across Europe. Congratulations to all project partners, and especially to Amy Lucey, Megan Daly-Tyrrell and the RDI Hub team who helped drive the project forward. Made with AI: Labelling, Governance and Responsible Use Your team is probably already using AI to write copy, create images and support client work, but are you clear about when that content needs to be labelled? Since August 2026, EU rules mean businesses need to be clear about when content is AI-generated. If even a handful of your people use AI for marketing or client work, it applies to you. This masterclass gives you a plain-English guide to what the rules mean in practice and the simple steps required to get your business on the right footing. What you will walk away with: 👉 A clear picture of the EU AI Act labelling rules for images, video, audio and written content. 👉 An understanding of the difference between an AI policy and AI governance, and why you need both. 👉 Simple first steps for tracking AI use and labelling AI-generated content across your team. 👉 Practical examples, live demos and insight into how a global listed company built a policy its staff actually use. 📅 Tuesday, 27 October ⏰ 11:00-12:45 💻 Online via Zoom 🎟️ Registration link in the comments The Smart Regions AI Navigator programme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the Southern, Eastern & Midland Regional Programme 2021-2027. #AI #GenAI #EUAIAct #ResponsibleAI #SmartRegions #euinmyregion #AINavigator #MadeWithAI PorterShed | GreentechHQ | Southern Regional Assembly | Enterprise Ireland

We were delighted Enterprise Ireland's local enterprise and regions team of 47 delegates chose the RDI Hub for their recent team offsite. It was a pleasure to host the team and share the story of how the RDI Hub has evolved over the past six years. Our CEO, Fergal Brosnan, reflected on the Hub's success and journey from an ambitious vision to one of Ireland's leading innovation centres, and the vital role Enterprise Ireland has played in supporting that growth since day one. Strong partnerships are at the heart of everything we do, and we're grateful for the continued support that helps us create opportunities for startups, scale-ups, SMEs and innovators across the region. Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was great to share our story and showcase the impact that collaboration can deliver. #Innovation #EnterpriseIreland #RegionalInnovation #StartupEcosystem #SMEs #Kerry #RDIHub
