Arevon’s Nighthawk Energy Storage Project is shortlisted for the 2026 Energy-Storage.news Awards in the Debt/Equity Deal of the Year category! 🔋 Nighthawk demonstrates how merchant #batterystorage projects can be financed while integrating #ESG outcomes from the outset. The 300 MW/1,200 MWh facility is among the first projects to put the Inflation Reduction Act’s transferability provisions into practice through a fully integrated institutional capital stack. Working across multiple stakeholders, Arevon successfully closed a $920 million financial package for Nighthawk. The deal combined $482 million in senior construction and term debt, a $169 million Class A preferred equity investment, a $268 million tax-credit transfer commitment from a corporate purchaser, and sponsor equity.
