Studying for exams can feel overwhelming when you don’t have the right tools. To help you prepare for your next exam, we've rolled out three new features in Gemini Notebook that keep your learning structured and engaging. • Short Video Overviews generate 60-second videos to help you unpack tricky concepts. Watch them while you’re on-the-go, or share them with your study partners. • Interactive Learning Overviews turn your study materials, including class notes, lectures, and readings, into step-by-step guides. • Expanded quiz formats now let you add short answer, multi-select, and fill in the blank options. After you finish your quiz or flashcard review, you can ask your notebook to pinpoint weak spots where you need to focus more. Learn more ↓ https://goo.gle/3VTaaYT

Teams across Google put Gemini 4 Argon to work on our hardest engineering problems. From untangling legacy Chromium code to speeding up our Gemma open models, here are 5 ways our engineers and researchers put Argon to the test: 1️⃣ Google Chrome: Gemini 4 Argon helped our team separate core webpage handling from a ~6-million-line legacy folder of browser features held within Chromium’s 40-million-line codebase — completing months of work in just weeks. For Chrome's billions of users, this eliminates an entire category of browser crashes and lets live webpages move fluidly between tabs, side panels, and floating windows without reloading. 2️⃣ Google Antigravity: Software engineers at Google using Argon in Antigravity are shipping high-quality code faster than ever. Over the past few weeks, agentic code submissions increased by more than 35% — while cutting code rollbacks by nearly a third. Read more → goo.gle/4hPJbGo 3️⃣ Agent Development Kit (ADK): For Google's open-source ADK, the team gave Argon a skills rulebook and one goal: eliminate framework overhead without breaking existing apps. Working autonomously overnight, Argon surfaced optimizations that cut in-memory session prep time by 40% in long sessions and sped up cold imports by 21%. See it live in google/adk-python → goo.gle/4eAtLDA 4️⃣ Quantum chemistry (xTB): Our researchers used Argon in Antigravity to optimize xTB, one of the most-cited open-source quantum chemistry packages for predicting molecules' 3D shapes and screening drug and materials candidates. They made xTB up to 2.3x faster at predicting molecular structures and 1.8x faster at conformer search — contributing the changes to the official xTB repository on GitHub → goo.gle/4s6dko0 5️⃣ Gemma open models: Gemini 4 Argon is also speeding up our Gemma open models — making them nearly three times as fast. In just a few days, Argon optimized Gemma 4 E2B to achieve a 2.85x inference speedup on an A100 via vLLM — jumping from ~37,900 to over 108,000 tokens per second with 100% token parity and zero quality drop. Gemini 4 Argon is built to solve highly complex scientific, coding, and agentic problems at Google and beyond. To accelerate real-world impact and discovery across domains, we’re opening applications for researchers and cyber defenders: 🔹 Scientists & researchers: Apply for a chance to get Google Antigravity’s highest usage tier free for 6 months (subject to eligibility & selection) → goo.gle/4z0OCrZ 🔹 Cybersecurity defenders: Apply to join the Fairwind Program → goo.gle/3TUNMOj Learn more about Gemini 4 Argon → goo.gle/4jfSznG

Today at our Research@ event, we shared new breakthroughs and tools that will empower global scientists, doctors, developers, and public health officials to advance science and technology. Here are a few highlights: -We’re beginning to test new ways for partners to access Google Earth AI’s agentic capabilities, including integrating our Geospatial Reasoning agent skills directly into custom workflows via an experimental agent-to-agent API. -We created Deep Review, an agentic system that provides rigorous verification across complex knowledge documents. It was originally designed for computer science academic paper analysis, and today, we’re making Deep Review available via API so anyone can use it to improve a variety of technical documents from legal agreements to financial reports. -TimesFM and TabFM are our foundational models engineered specifically to reason over raw numerical distributions. Both models deliver accurate predictions out of the box with zero training, and rank at the top of leading public benchmarks in their fields. They’re now available to all Cloud BigQuery users, and we’ll soon bring these models into Gemini for Business. -MedGemma, our collection of open-weight AI models built on the Gemma models and optimized to understand medical text and images, is pushing the frontier of open health AI with new multimodal capabilities, clinical reasoning, and real-world virtual care insights. Developers are adapting MedGemma in projects as varied as enabling faster triage in overcrowded clinics to screening for eye disease and cervical cancer.
