Go University kicked off its sophomore class in BC by bringing in local VP Guy Boudreau to talk AI, baseball and great customer service in an age where people are dying to speak to a human being. Technology may be booming, informing customers of more choices, more questions and everything in between, but when the rubber hits the road, nothing makes someone feel secure in their purchase like an authentic sales associate. So grateful to everyone who made it out in person and online! We’ll see you again at Go U!

Celebrating our Employees of the Month! Today, we brought together some of our incredible Go Auto Employees of the Month for a well-deserved celebration. Recognition matters. These are people who consistently step up, support their teams, take care of our customers, and make Go Auto better through the work they do every day. And we celebrated them properly. Our Go Bistro team put together an incredible lunch featuring Crispy Vadouvan Cauliflower, Steak au Poivre with truffled mashed potatoes, and Alberta Berry Panna Cotta for dessert. Great food. Great people. And a chance to recognize some outstanding contributions from across Go Auto. Congratulations to all of our Employees of the Month. People often come into a car dealership with their guard up. They want to make a good decision, feel confident about what they're spending, and know they're getting exactly what they need. That's where great customer service makes all the difference. Our goal is the same as theirs: a process where they get everything they need, and nothing they don't. Now more than ever, people have options, and in Customer Service 101 we lay the groundwork for turning a walk-in appointment into someone ready to tell their friends and family how surprised they were when our people showed up happy to help. Every dealer, every manager, every leader all aligned and on the same path. That was the focus of our mid year management meeting, a focused and often celebratory gathering discussing what we’ve been doing well and more importantly where we can continue to grow in the many areas of our business. From marketing to fixed ops, from accounting to job interviews, we dove into metrics, strategies, and examples to help every group move forward on the same page. Because when it comes to the desire to grow, it’s important to understand what’s not measured cannot be mastered. Thanks to all our brilliant people for their focus, passion and how they show up day after day. Let’s Go!

Friday was a special day as we celebrated Jared Priestner, Principal of Go Auto, as the recipient of the 2026 CADA Laureate Award for Business Innovation. One of the highest honours in Canadian automotive retail, the award recognizes dealers who have made a significant and lasting impact on the industry. In accepting the award, Jared was quick to recognize the people behind Go Auto’s success: “I’m up here receiving this award, but looking around at everybody in the room, this is the furthest thing from an individual award. I try to chart the course, and the team members we have in this room are really the people who deserve the recognition.” In typical Jared fashion, he spent much of his time talking about everyone else. He reflected on the leaders who have helped build Go Auto, including many who have been with the company for 20 years, sharing how their careers began, how far they have come, and the role they continue to play in our success. Go Auto is growing again in the U.S., with Toyota of Hollywood officially joining our group. As the first Toyota dealership in North America, Toyota of Hollywood has been serving Los Angeles for nearly seven decades. It’s a dealership with an incredible history, and we’re proud to be part of what comes next.
