Accessibility work often gets stuck at triage, sorting through reports before anyone can fix a thing. GitHub's team found a way to let AI handle that part. By using GitHub Copilot and Actions to automate feedback classification, the team freed up engineers to focus on actually fixing barriers, not managing queues. Now there's a continuous loop: feedback comes in, AI triages it, and fixes ship faster. That's a big difference for users who depend on accessible experiences every day. Go behind the scenes of how the GitHub team transformed their internal workflow. ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/dissus_8

Join Philippe Ombredanne, creator of ScanCode and contributor to ClearlyDefined, as he discusses building open source tools and standards for secure software supply chains. Philippe maintains critical projects like Package-URL, SPDX, and CycloneDX that help organizations understand and manage their software dependencies. We'll explore how open data and open standards foster healthier software ecosystems, dive into the aboutcode.org toolkit, and discuss practical approaches to software composition analysis.

Excited to share what I've been working on at GitHub... Stacked PRs 🥞 Stacked PRs let you break a large code change into a series of smaller, dependent parts. Each one is focused and reviewable on its own, and together they tell a story of what you're building. This is more important than ever in a world of AI coding agents. The bottleneck is no longer writing code — it's reviewing it. Stacks help solve that: smaller, focused PRs mean higher quality reviews and faster time to merge ⚡ What's even cooler is seeing AI coding agents use stacks themselves. They can use the CLI to break up their own work into focused, reviewable PRs as they build. Our goal is to make stacks work seamlessly across all of GitHub. That means making sure branch protection rules, Actions/CI, code scanning, reviews, rebasing, merging, etc. "just work" as you'd expect. More to come soon ✨
