🤖 Thinking about adopting AI in your organisation but unsure where to start? Before jumping in, here are three key insights to ensure your AI adoption actually delivers real value: ⚙️1️⃣ Productivity is the starting point — not the goal AI is not just about meeting summaries, drafting content, or finding information faster. The real impact comes from redesigning workflows so AI agents can handle defined tasks end-to-end, while people step in where judgement and context matter most. 🔗2️⃣ Systems of record are evolving Modern AI deployments shift responsibility from people to agentic systems operating within clear boundaries. In customer service, for example, agents can manage routine interactions, gather context across sales, service, and billing, and route complex cases with the right information attached. 📊3️⃣ Governance and measurement are the real differentiators As AI agents scale, complexity grows quickly. Success in agentic CRM will depend on how well organisations govern their agents and measure outcomes such as resolution time, cash collection, or pipeline velocity. AI adoption is not just about adding tools — it’s about transforming how work gets done. AI adoption in professional services has reached a tipping point, with most organizations now integrating GenAI and planning for agentic AI; however, a lack of ROI metrics and firm/client confusion raises new questions about business impact and strategy. - > AI adoption accelerates across professional services — Organization-wide use of AI in professional services almost doubled to 40% in 2026, with most individual professionals now using GenAI tools, and many preparing for the next wave of tools such as agentic AI. -> Strategic integration and measurement lag behind usage — While AI use is widespread, only 18% of respondents say their organization tracks ROI of AI tools, and even fewer measure AI’s impact on broader business goals such as client satisfaction or revenue generation. -> Communication around AI use remains inconsistent — While most corporate departments want their outside firms to use AI on client matters, less than one-third are aware whether their firms are doing so. Meanwhile, firms report receiving conflicting instructions from clients about AI use, highlighting a need for clearer dialogue and shared strategy around AI adoption. Credit to: Thomson Reuters

Australian small businesses are discovering that AI research agents go far beyond simple chatbots – they're intelligent systems that can gather market intelligence, analyse customer behaviour, and uncover competitive insights in minutes rather than hours. At INTERMETA, we're seeing Melbourne SMEs transform their research processes by implementing AI solutions that automatically scan industry reports, monitor social media sentiment, and compile comprehensive market analyses. These aren't just efficiency tools; they're strategic advantages that level the playing field with larger competitors. The shift from manual research to AI-powered intelligence gathering is particularly crucial for resource-constrained small businesses. While enterprises have dedicated research teams, SMEs can now access similar capabilities through intelligent automation that works around the clock. Read our latest insights on how AI research agents are revolutionising business intelligence for Australian SMEs: https://lnkd.in/gzZi-uWF What research tasks in your business could benefit from intelligent automation? #AIAutomation #BusinessAI #Melbourne #MarketResearch #SMEAustralia

AI adoption in enterprises isn’t the challenge anymore. Measuring it is. Most orgs have: - sanctioned AI tools - embedded AI features - Shadow AI in browsers So I think AI adoption needs a real measurement program, not just rollout metrics. My simple framework: Discover — build a living inventory of every AI tool (sanctioned + unsanctioned) Prioritize — focus on high-usage, high-impact, sensitive-data, high-spend tools Standardize metrics — consistent DAU/WAU/MAU, engagement score, segmentation (dept/level/location/tenure) Instrument — browser + endpoint visibility + admin APIs + IAM + HRIS integration Act — dashboards for execs/IT/leaders, and every metric tied to a decision (invest, train, intervene, celebrate) Because adoption data is only useful if it changes outcomes. How are you measuring AI adoption in your org today? 👇 #AI #EnterpriseAI #DigitalTransformation #DataGovernance

The next wave of AI impact won’t come from more tools. It will come from AI that works together. Over the past few years, enterprise AI strategy has largely meant one thing: deploying more tools. More copilots. More dashboards. More point solutions embedded in workflows. And tactically, it’s worked. According to RingCentral’s Agentic AI Trends 2026 report, 97% of organizations now use at least one form of AI, with 77% achieving ROI within the first year. But buried in the data is a warning signal: organizations are approaching the limits of siloed intelligence. Nearly 40% of organizations have already paused or adjusted AI initiatives, not because the technology failed, but because integration complexity, misalignment, and fragmented workflows have got in the way. For those already using AI agents, the friction is often psychological: 38% cite trust in outcomes as their top barrier to scaling. The constraint is no longer model capability. It’s coordination. What’s emerging next is not more AI but better-connected AI. Agentic AI reframes the problem. Instead of asking where to add intelligence, it asks how intelligence moves across systems, workflows, decisions, and people. That’s why the most significant opportunity arising from the report isn’t adoption; it’s structure. While 45% of organizations already use AI agents, which deliver 61% productivity gains where they have been deployed, agents alone don’t solve fragmentation. Without coordination, they risk becoming just another layer of silos. RingCentral’s study shows that the real shift is towards connection and alignment. A key part of this alignment is Agentic Voice AI, with the report noting that spoken conversations convey the high-stakes intent that silent workflows miss, making voice the critical bridge between human context and automated execution. This enables agents to share context, manage handovers, adapt workflows dynamically, and escalate intelligently to humans. It’s what turns isolated automations into a system that works together. The leadership question is no longer “Where can we use AI?” It’s “How does work actually flow across our organization and how should intelligence flow with it?” Take a look at the report: https://lnkd.in/eNu3fd3w #ai #aiagents #agenticai #digitaltransformation #RingCentralPartner
