Abstract
Two fungal isolates, DMKU-RG2M15ᵀ and DMKU-RG2P11, were isolated from the phylloplane of healthy leaves of the mangrove tree Ceriops tagal (Perr.) C.B. Rob., collected in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand. Their taxonomic placement was investigated using a polyphasic approach based on morphological, physiological and multilocus phylogenetic analyses. Colonies produced primary conidiophores with verticillate branching, bearing hyaline, smooth-walled, oval to ellipsoidal conidia. Phylogenetic analyses based on a combined dataset of the internal transcribed spacer region, the large subunit rRNA gene, translation elongation factor 1-α, β-tubulin and RNA polymerase II second-largest subunit resolved the two isolates as a distinct and well-supported monophyletic lineage within the genus Clonostachys. Phylogenetic analyses showed that the two isolates are closely related to Clonostachys mangrovei, Clonostachys viticola and Clonostachys reniformis. Morphological and physiological comparisons further distinguished the isolates from their closest relatives. The congruence between phylogenetic and phenotypic data supports the recognition of the two isolates as representing a distinct species. Accordingly, both strains are proposed as a novel species of Clonostachys, for which the name Clonostachys kasetsartana sp. nov. is introduced.

Abstract
Two new species of Calotes lizards, Calotes thailandensis sp. nov. and C. maehongsonensis sp. nov., are diagnosed and described from Thailand. These new species are most closely related to C. irawadi and C. wangi, which are members of the C. irawadi complex, supported by phylogenetic analysis of mitochondrial DNA data (ND2 and COI genes) coupled with morphometric and osteological data. Calotes thailandensis sp. nov. and C. maehongsonensis sp. nov. are distinguished from true C. irawadi by having a wider PelvW, but a smaller head size in adult males. In particular, adult males of C. thailandensis sp. nov. obviously differ from both C. irawadi and C. wangi by having a longer supratympanic spine, whereas C. maehongsonensis sp. nov. has a distinctly longer hindlimb than that of C. irawadi and C. wangi. As a result, two new species increase the list of known Calotes species in Thailand to four species; C. thailandensis sp. nov., C. maehongsonensis sp. nov., C. emma and C. goetzi.

 ABSTRACT
Lobophora (Dictyotales, Phaeophyceae) is an ecologically important seaweed genus in tropical and subtropical marine ecosystems. This alga exhibits cryptic diversity and morphological plasticity, which require taxonomic delineations that primarily depend on DNA analyses, complemented by morphological and ecological data. Species diversity and distribution within Southeast Asia remain understudied compared to well-documented regions such as the Caribbean and the western Pacific. This study provides a comprehensive assessment of the genus Lobophora along the east coast of Thailand, integrating DNA-based surveys with morphological analyses. Extensive sampling across the Gulf of Thailand revealed 14 well-supported monophyletic clades of Lobophora. Among these, we described four new species (L. lewmanomontiae sp. nov., L. ogawae sp. nov., L. thiemmedhii sp. nov., and L. velasquezii sp. nov.) and reported three new national records (L. abscondita, L. henae, and L. quangtriensis), thereby bringing the Thai total to 21 species. When combined with previous records, 30 species have now been recorded from Southeast Asia, with 12 of which are endemic to the region. This study also emphasizes the importance of extensive sampling across broader areas, which enhances our understanding of biogeographic distributions and their implications for coastal ecosystem management.

Abstract
This study investigates sequestrate boletes from southern Thailand and presents a morphologically distinctive specimen with a strong cantaloupe-like odor. Detailed morphological and molecular phylogenetic analyses, utilizing the internal transcribed spacer (ITS), large subunit ribosomal RNA (LSU) and RNA polymerase II second largest subunit (RPB2) genes were performed to determine its taxonomic position. Nonetheless, the new sequestrate bolete exhibited a distinctive morphological features, including a scaly peridium, a characteristic cantaloupe-like odor at maturity. Together with molecular evidence, these characteristics clearly distinguish it from other sequestrate boletoid (Chamonixia, Durianella, Octaviania, Rossbeevera, and Turmalinea). These findings support the recognition of a novel genus within the subfamily Leccinoideae. Therefore, we propose a new genus and new species, Sirindhornea siamensis, for this sequestrate bolete species.

Abstract
Four yeast strains representing three novel species were isolated from two sources in Thailand, one from the leaf surface of a tall-stilt mangrove (Rhizophora apiculata, strain DMKU-RG45) and three from the fruiting bodies of wild mushrooms (strains DMKU-TM03, DMKU-SM11, and DMKU-SM28) collected in Thailand. Sequence analysis of the D1/D2 domain of the large subunit (LSU) rRNA gene and the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region revealed that these four strains differed by 0.87–8.68% and 2.07–13.55% in their nucleotide divergence from their closest described species in the sequences of the D1/D2 domain of the LSU rRNA gene and the ITS region, respectively. In phylogenetic analyses, the strain DMKU-RG45 belonged to the genus Cyberlindnera and was distinct from other recognized species in this genus, whereas the strains DMKU-TM03, DMKU-SM11, and DMKU-SM28 were members of the genus Blastobotrys. However, they were in two different positions, each of which was distinct from closely related species. Based on molecular analyses and phenotypic characteristics, the strain DMKU-RG45 is proposed as Cyberlindnera sirindhorniae f.a., sp. nov. (the holotype is TBRC 19863T; MycoBank No. is MB 858763). The other three strains (DMKU-TM03, DMKU-SM11, and DMKU-SM28) are proposed as two novel Blastobotrys species. Blastobotrys princeps f.a., sp. nov. is proposed to accommodate the strain DMKU-TM03 (the holotype is TBRC 19382T; MycoBank No. is MB 858764). Blastobotrys siamensis f.a., sp. nov. is proposed to accommodate both strains DMKU-SM11 and DMKU-SM28 (the holotype is TBRC 19380T; MycoBank No. is MB 858765).

Abstract
A novel cupulate basidiomycete fungus was discovered during a survey of mangrove-associated fungi in Chanthaburi and Phetchaburi Provinces, Thailand. This species, found exclusively on decaying Rhizophora mucronata hypocotyls in intertidal zones, forms minute fruiting bodies and shows close morphological and molecular resemblance to Calathella mangrovei Jones & Agerer, 1992. Phylogenetic analyses of ITS and LSU rDNA regions confirmed its placement within Calathella, as a distinct sister lineage to C. mangrovei. Therefore, these isolates represent a novel species, for which the name Calathella sirindhorniae sp. nov. is proposed.

Abstract
Debaratania gen. nov. is described from Thailand, with Debaratania bellula sp. nov. designated as the type species. The new genus is characterized by its colorful forewing pattern, sexual dimorphism in the shape of both the fore- and the hindwing, and distinctive male hindwing venation, where M3 and CuA1 are short-stalked both proximally and distally, with three distinct anal veins. The male genitalia feature a prominent leaf-like uncus and a large tubular phallus with long, narrow cornuti. In the female genitalia, a conspicuous sclerotized plate with a strongly developed thorn-like process is present at the anterior end of ductus bursae. Living and pinned specimens, wing venation, and genitalia are illustrated. Structural features support placement in the tribe Enarmoniini.

Genus Debaratania gen.nov.

Debaratania bellula Pinkaew sp. nov.

Diagnosis.– This new genus is superficially similar to some brightly colored species of Thaumatographa (Hilarographini), and Anthozela (Enarmoniini). However, it is easily distinguished by the sexual dimorphism in the shape of the forewing and hindwing, with the male forewing slightly more subtriangular

Etymology.–The generic name “Debaratania” is a part of name for Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn [Princess Debaratana Rajasuda].

ABSTRACT
The recognition of new species is fundamental to understanding biodiversity and biogeography. Through an integrative taxonomic approach, combining morphological and multilocus molecular data, a new red algal species, Rhodogorgon truncata sp. nov. is described from the west coast of Thailand. The new species differs from the two previously described species in the genus, i.e. R. ramosissima and R. flagellifera, by unique morphological features including compressed and stocky thalli with determinate short branchlets along the upper portion, giving it a truncated and verrucose appearance. Our morphological observations revealed the smaller size, compressed shape, and truncated apices of R. truncata in contrast to the cylindrical, irregularly branched thalli of R. ramosissima and R. flagellifera. Phylogenetic analyses suggest that R. truncata is more closely related to undescribed Rhodogorgon specimens from the Indo-Pacific than to the Caribbean R. ramosissima. The discovery of this new species expands the known diversity within the genus Rhodogorgon and suggests greater, as yet undiscovered, species diversity among poorly studied red algae in the Indo-Pacific Ocean.
