“We build the technology to make technicians more productive, and it’s all integrated. Our engineers learn as much from the technicians every day as the technicians learn from them.” Hadrian's CFO West Owens shared this perspective on the future of American manufacturing at our first TECH WEEK by a16z yesterday, “Building AI for the Physical World.” We brought together more than 200 founders, investors, and operators to discuss what it takes to rebuild and scale American manufacturing. Thank you to our panelists and event partners Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Bessemer Venture Partners, Harmoni J.P. Morgan, SendCutSend, and Amca for making the conversation possible. #LATechWeek

Manufacturing The Future
About us
Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built. Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen. If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for. Hadrian brought together founders, investors, and operators at our first LA TECH WEEK by a16z event, “Building AI for the Physical World,” in Santa Monica. Our CFO West Owens joined Jim Belosic (SendCutSend), David Caputo (Harmoni), and Jai Malik(Amca), moderated by Trevor Burns of J.P. Morgan, with opening remarks from Neel Lilani of Orrick. The conversation focused on what it takes to scale American manufacturing, rebuild domestic supply chains, and develop the workforce needed to support the next generation of industry. Reindustrializing America means building the factories, workforce, and production capacity to make it happen. #LATechWeek

Reindustrialize means: go make stuff. That’s all you gotta do. Just go start and then figure out the details as you go. Stop writing essays and complaining about subsidies and foreign competition. Go buy a machine, wire it up, and make a product people need.

We’re expanding our partnership with Lockheed Martin. Under a new seven-year agreement, Hadrian will bring advanced manufacturing capabilities directly into Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, to help scale production across critical missile programs. Hadrian’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, Opus software and national manufacturing network will support production across PAC-3 MSE, THAAD, PrSM and GMLRS, helping rebuild the Arsenal of Freedom. Commissioning will begin in early 2027, with new manufacturing cells phased in over the seven-year agreement. Press release link in comments.

This week, Hadrian wrapped its fourth annual Chili Cook-Off. And for the first time, we ran it across state lines, with our talented employee chefs competing at our LA and Arizona facilities. It started small in 2022: a handful of pots and a few brave entries. Four years and a lot of growth later, it's become one of the traditions our team looks forward to most. The people who've been here since the early days have watched it turn into something bigger. More entries, more colleagues gathering to share good food, vote for their favorites, and, mostly, show up for each other. Hadrian moves fast. We're building and scaling at a pace most companies don't. And still, leadership, managers, factory technicians, and engineers, all with full schedules, carved out the time to be together. To everyone who showed up, stirred a pot, or just grabbed a bowl: you're what makes this place what it is. Here's to year four, and to many more.

Last night we opened our Torrance factory floor to 40+ software engineers from across LA for our first Hadrian After Hours event. The hardest part of manufacturing isn't designing a part — it's actually making it. That's the problem Hadrian is built to solve: everything from precision components to the factories themselves. It's how we rebuild America's ability to make things at scale. Basil Siddiqui kicked off the night. Erin "Laser" Swenson-Healey, Christian Vega Munguia, and Trent Liu walked through how software, hardware, and AI come together to actually run production here. And Kris E. ran a Q&A full of thoughtful, hard questions that make you think about the problem differently. What stood out most was who showed up: software engineers of every background, from aerospace and defense to software-focused companies, all of them digging into how physical things actually get made. That's exactly the room we hoped for, and we'll keep opening the doors. Thanks to everyone who spent their Thursday night with us. This was the first of many.

This week, our founder and CEO, Chris Power was a guest on Mike Rowe's The Way I Heard It podcast. They spoke about Reindustrializing America, and how Hadrian is building the critical parts, products, and programs our country depends on. But Chris and Mike kept coming back to people on the floor. For 40 years, the manufacturing workforce was treated as an afterthought. We hold the opposite belief: the people putting their hands and minds into the work are the ones who make that mission real. It's why we build the software that makes our factory team 4 to 10x more productive. And, as Chris shares, it's how we get people who have never set foot in a factory before up and running in 30 days. As Mike put it, there's a chance here to get your hands on something "truly consequential, and maybe even historic." Chris and Mike get into all of it. This week was a special one at Hadrian. We welcomed 27 leaders from Alabama to F2 in Torrance for our first-ever Alabama delegation visit to California-and an important step toward bringing F4 to Cherokee, Alabama. Our guests represented the Alabama Community College System , AIDT , Senator Katie Britt’s office, Alabama Department of Commerce , ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF WORKFORCE , The University of Alabama , Auburn University, University of North Alabama , Northwest Shoals Community College, Florence City Schools , Colbert County School System, Tennessee Valley Authority , Economic Development Partnership of Alabama , Shoals Economic Development Authority , Alabama Training Network , and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce. They were accompanied by AL State Representatives Kerry Underwood and Jamie Kiel. They came to see what we do firsthand-from our technology and manufacturing processes to the way we approach training and workforce development. But just as importantly, they came to ask questions, exchange ideas, and start thinking with us about what it will take to make F4 successful in Alabama. Because building a factory is about much more than a building. It takes great people, strong schools and training programs, committed community partners, and leaders willing to work together. We want F4 to become part of the fabric of the Shoals-and that starts long before the first part is manufactured. We’re especially grateful to Alabama Secretary of Commerce Ellen McNair for making the trip and spending time with our team, and to all 27 members of the delegation who traveled across the country to learn, share, and help us prepare for what’s ahead. We loved having Alabama in California. Next stop: Cherokee.

Today, we are happy to announce the closing of a $360 million revolving credit facility. The financing was arranged by a leading group of financial firms, underscoring strong institutional support for Hadrian’s continued growth. Morgan Stanley Investment Banking & Capital Markets served as Lead Left Arranger and Bookrunner, with additional Joint Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners Western Alliance Bank, J.P. Morgan, Silicon Valley Bank (a division of First Citizens Bank), Customers Bank, HSBC Innovation Banking, Axos Bank, and Texas Capital Securities. Kirkland & Ellis was counsel to Hadrian on the transaction. This facility allows Hadrian to further invest in the advanced manufacturing infrastructure, machinery, and related hardware needed to achieve its production goals, and comes one week after Hadrian announced its $1.37 billion Series D fundraise, which valued the company at $7.87 billion.
