Wow, what an event! The 45th edition of the NN Marathon Rotterdam was again a true experience with hundreds of thousands of visitors and 18,000 people running 42 kilometres. We were proud to be an official sponsor, supporting not only the athletes on the track but also the dedicated community of supporters who turned the marathon into a big happening. Standard sizing vs real bodies: what can technology fix? At the London Fashion Tech Show by PI - Fashion's Technology Community, Pelin Anli Bedirhanoglu, Director of Product Management, shared how we’re tackling fashion’s biggest headache: size and fit. Technology is a powerful tool, but it’s not a solo mission. To move from "mass production" to "mass personalisation," we’re layering up our innovation: 🔸 Foundational: we use algorithms to provide size flags and recommendations – already informing over 65% of our orders. 🔸Advanced: we’re giving you more control with Body Measurement tools (used by 1 million customers!) and personalised Size Profiles. 🔸Disruptive: Our 3D Virtual Fitting Rooms bring the changing booth to your living room. The impact? It’s real. These tools have already prevented 8% of size-related returns across the platform. In our Virtual Fitting Room pilots, we’ve even seen returns drop by 40%. The future of fit isn't just about better code; it’s about reconnecting brands and consumers to create more tailored collections and less waste. As Pelin highlighted, technology can do a lot, but digitalising fit is a journey we’re taking together with our partners and brands. 🤝
