Helping teenagers to discover who they are and what they can achieve with our experiential, character – development programmes. SOAR works inside and outside the education system with young people aged 12-19 delivering workshops that focus on developing confidence, self-esteem and resilience so that our young people, the next generation, can have the opportunity to dare to dream and fulfill their potential. At SOAR we do this because we believe that within all young people is greatness. It will take a team effort. Join us.

⛳ With just over two weeks to go until the basis.point Corporate Golf Challenge 2026, excitement is building for what promises to be another great day of fundraising, networking and friendly competition. We're proud to support the event as Lunch Sponsor and to have a team led by Anne Keys taking part. 🏌♀️🏌♂️ The funds raised help basis.point support a network of inspirational educational partners, including Archways, Business in the Community Ireland, DCU Changemaker Schools, Early Learning Initiative, Fighting Words, Foróige, Kinia, The Soar Foundation, Teen-Turn, and Technological University Dublin, all working to improve educational outcomes for children and young people experiencing disadvantage across Ireland. The Soar Foundation are delighted to announce that we have been named as one of the recipients in the latest round of RTÉ Toy Show Grants. This generous grant will support our continuing work providing wellbeing programmes in secondary schools and communities nationally. In every workshop we witness the impact that building connection, resilience and self-esteem can have in supporting young people as they navigate life's challenges. We are deeply grateful that this impact has been recognised and continues to be supported by this grant. Supported by Community Foundation Ireland we are delighted to announce the launch of our summer 10-week, in-person wellbeing programme for young people of all backgrounds aged 13-18. This powerful programme will bring young people together in our Dublin 7 community centre base and allow them to get to know themselves more whilst building confidence and resilience so that they can face life's challenges with courage. Did you know that our programmes are CPD Accredited?! We are thrilled to announce that SOAR's programmes are now fully accredited which means that your school, community and corporate groups can new earn CPD points. Our Transition Year programme - Ignite, junior cycle programme - Spark and our Quest programmes now all carry CPD accreditation. What an incredible way to celebrate International Teenager Day yesterday! Two of our Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) members, Amir and Tiernan and our board member Karen Hand Ph.D were on the Ireland AM couch to chat about what life is like to be a teenager in Ireland today. The discussion touched on the role that teenagers have in today's society and the reality of navigating some of the challenges that young people are currently facing. A thought-provoking and important conversation. Thank you to Virgin Media Ireland for providing the space and opportunity to celebrate.

We were delighted to welcome our charity partner The Soar Foundation, into our studios today to mark International Teenager Day. SOAR is a national youth‑empowerment charity delivering transformational school‑based workshops that build confidence, resilience and self‑worth among thousands of young people across Ireland. This morning on Ireland AM, social psychologist and SOAR board member Dr. Karen Hand joined teenagers Tiernan Murphy and Amir Alyeldin to shine a light on the real challenges facing young people today — from mental‑wellbeing pressures to the everyday realities of teenage life. It was a powerful and timely conversation, and one that aligns closely with our partnership — championing SOAR’s incredible work in supporting and uplifting Ireland’s youth.

Rachel Dwyer and Tracey Dollard recently attended the basis.point 2026 showcase event hosted by Laura Trimble. A wonderful evening celebrating the power of values-aligned partnerships, they heard how organisations can make tangible, meaningful difference in people's lives as demonstrated by the speakers on the night. They even had some beautiful singing in ISL by the young primary school students to round it all off. Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a beautiful event once more. From the first brave note sung by our young students to the powerful stories shared throughout the evening, the message was clear we are truly stronger together. Generously hosted by HSBC, Showcase 26 celebrated partnerships that open doors, build confidence and change the trajectory of young lives. From creative breakthroughs with Fighting Words, to Teen-Turn interns with BNY finding their voice, families supported through the BNP Paribas Home from Home programme, to the culture shift made possible through the KiVa Antibullying programme, the impact of collaboration was felt in every story. Our youngest guests closed the night with a moving rendition of Sia's “Courage to Change” in ISL, reminding us that hope, resilience and community can transform futures. Our latest impact report reveals how we have committed over €8.5m to education, supporting programmes across the spectrum of early intervention, transformational skills, mental health and wellness and career readiness.
