The Soar Foundation are delighted to announce that we have been named as one of the recipients in the latest round of RTÉ Toy Show Grants. This generous grant will support our continuing work providing wellbeing programmes in secondary schools and communities nationally. In every workshop we witness the impact that building connection, resilience and self-esteem can have in supporting young people as they navigate life's challenges. We are deeply grateful that this impact has been recognised and continues to be supported by this grant. This powerful programme will bring young people together in our Dublin 7 community centre base and allow them to get to know themselves more whilst building confidence and resilience so that they can face life's challenges with courage. We are thrilled to announce that SOAR's programmes are now fully accredited which means that your school, community and corporate groups can new earn CPD points. What an incredible way to celebrate International Teenager Day yesterday! Two of our Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) members, Amir and Tiernan and our board member Karen Hand Ph.D were on the Ireland AM couch to chat about what life is like to be a teenager in Ireland today. The discussion touched on the role that teenagers have in today's society and the reality of navigating some of the challenges that young people are currently facing. A thought-provoking and important conversation. Thank you to Virgin Media Ireland for providing the space and opportunity to celebrate.

Rachel Dwyer and Tracey Dollard recently attended the basis.point 2026 showcase event hosted by Laura Trimble. A wonderful evening celebrating the power of values-aligned partnerships, they heard how organisations can make tangible, meaningful difference in people's lives as demonstrated by the speakers on the night. They even had some beautiful singing in ISL by the young primary school students to round it all off. Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a beautiful event once more.
